There are variety of states in Africa that deliver outstanding photographic expedition experiences, with their very good distinctive experiences. The important factor when choosing a country where to go for your next African safari is to consider specific wildlife of your interests, and other interest apart from African wildlife viewing.
Below are the top best safari countries in African continent.

South Africa
South African safari has almost everything, there are beaches, mountains, cities, winelands, culture, and, great safari national parks and game reserves. You feel no difference like being in the USA or any of the European countries. Private reserves adjacent to the Kruger National Park offers the best safari such as the Sabi Sand and Timbavati reserves.  For those who don’t mind being in crowded places, we recommend the Kruger National Park. Kruger is the easiest quality place in Africa to encounter the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), here you have a chance to spot all five species in a one day of your African safari. It is also, the better place to spot leopards. This country has so a lot to offer extra than safaris. It is always advisable to combine some non-safari time in South Africa. Cape Town is always compared to San Francisco and Sydney, this has made it to be considered by many to be one of the top five cities in the world because it has stunning coastal drives, charming hamlets, and the famed Garden Route. Not just that, There is also a remarkable wildlife with outstanding whale and shark watching. Apart from Cape Town, there are other great regions that offer game parks, historic battle fields, warm water beaches, mountains, some of the world’s most luxurious trains etc.

Tanzania
Tanzania is considered the great wildlife migration safari country.  In Tanzania safari, you find the best  safari of your dreams:

There are famous destinations in Tanzania, like the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Zanzibar and Mount Kilimanjaro. The country also has national  parks that are not well known, like Ruaha national park, Katavi national park and Mahale National Park. All of this national parks advocates the greatest wildlife quantities in all of Africa. Tanzania is home to roughly 2 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle moving through the Serengeti ecosystem and its considred as Africa’s  largest populations of many safari species, such as lions and legendary Great wildest Migration. The major safari tours activities takes place in Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire which is known as the Northern Circuit. What should I expect from the Uganda safari in 2024 - 2025?

Uganda is a beautiful and peaceful country and there is a lot to expect on safaris in Uganda in 2024 – 2025, it includes the striking feature that is most seen in the areas near the rainforests such as Bwindi, Kibale, Budongo, etc., incredible mountain gorilla tracking is the most rewarding activity you should expect in Uganda safaris, other incredible activities are culture, game safari and sightseeing of the terraced Agriculture which rings the hills in thousands of shades of green savannah. Most Uganda tours always head to western part of the country to the broad belt of national parks that form the western border. The country is located on the meeting point of the eastern savannah and western jungle, Uganda is blessed with excellent terrain for the wider varieties of safaris ranging from a traditional game drive through grassland looking for wildlife animals and the birding is superlative with birdwatching that includes the glorious of the shoebill stork. The most visited traditional Big Five national parks of Uganda are Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls national park.

Who is this safari for?

Uganda is a destination for everyone and mostly for those in search of the absolute primate safaris that’s to say Chimpanzees which roam in numbers at Kibale forest national park, the last remaining mountain gorilla in Bwindi Impenetrable National park, and habituated chimpanzees in Kyambura gorge of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, not only that, you also expect colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, de Brazza monkeys and a host of other more species.

How long to stay in Uganda for Safari?
Uganda safari length will vary but a 3-day safari will let you track down the last standing mountain gorilla and those seeking to track gorillas for 4 days will fly into Entebbe and enjoy overnight on the lake shores of Victoria before either flying or driving out to the southwestern part of the country where magical Bwindi is located.  Though Experts recommend one to track the mountain gorillas twice, still tracking once is greatly a payoff experience unless you want to taste the tracking in two different sectors of the park then you will opt tracking twice as the first time you will do let say for example in Rushaga sector then the second time in Buhoma sector. Visitors usually fly back or drive to Entebbe after the gorilla experience or elsewhere or to head another Uganda safari circuit to Kibale national park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Murchison Falls.

When should I go for Safari?
Uganda safaris are good all year round, however, the rainy seasons (March to May and September to November) can make it a little tricky as the difficulty level of tracking gorillas and chimpanzees increases during rainy seasons.
