4 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking introduction:

What to Expect
1. Bwindi forest is also a habitat for over 90 species of mammals, other primates, and 346 species of birdlife of which counts upto 90% of Albertine rift endemic to East Africa.
2. Mountain Gorilla

Day 1 Arrival at Entebbe airport
You will met with our company guide upon arrival at Entebbe airport, and he will transfer you to The Boma Hotel,  Protea Hotel or Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort (Meal plan: Dinner)

Day 2 Drive to Bwindi
The guide will pick you at 8:00 a.m from your hotel and he will drive you to bwindi. You will Make the first stopover at the Equator crossing for snacks and for some photography. Stop for lunch break at Regency Hotel or Agip Motel Mbarara. Continue the journey after lunch to the vast rain forest "Bwindi", This is the forest  with lots of primates and birds, you will visit local communities for cultural experience in the afternoon on a foot safari. Meals and overnight at any of the following recommended accommodation: Clouds Mountain Gorilla lodge, Ichumbi gorilla lodge, Buhoma Lodge, Rushaga Gorilla camp, Siverback Lodge.

 

Day 3 Gorilla Trekking
Begin the day with breakfast ready for Uganda gorilla tours to trek the rare mountain gorilla in the wild, which begins at 7:30 a.m with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Its advisable not  to forget your lunch boxes as trekking might take between 2 - 10 hours but it’s well worth the effort. Meals and overnight at any of the following recommended accommodation: Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge, Buhoma Lodge, Rushaga Gorilla Camp, Silverback Lodge or Nkuringo Bwindi Lodge.

Day 4 Return to Kampala, then Entebbe
Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, with lunch en-route and stop over at Equator Uganda before your evening departures home.
